WCHN Accountable Care Organization Scores High - Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)

We are very excited to share with you the first results of our WCHN ACO CAHPS summary report (reflecting 2015 dates of service). CMS requires MSSP program awardees to survey their assigned Medicare beneficiaries annually in 11 domains of service and quality, with results then compared to other ACO’s nationally. The 11 domains include:

  1. rating your provider on a scale of 0-10,
  2. timely access to care appointments,
  3. communication between visits,
  4. how well your provider communicated with you,
  5. care coordination competencies,
  6. ability for shared decision- making,
  7. education around medication adherence,
  8. perception of office staff quality,
  9. access to specialists,
  10. health promotion,
  11. stewardship around patient resources.

Summary Comparison of Survey Measure

As you can see from our results we scored either higher or on par with all other Press Ganey MSSP/PQRS organizations*. The ability to drill down on these performance reports will help prioritize our organizations efforts as it continues to strive to improve our patients experience but as you can see from this report; our beneficiaries have already scored us as a high performing network.
