Danbury Hospital Earns Top Performer Recognition from Joint Commission

Once again, Danbury Hospital has been recognized as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® for 2014 by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States. Danbury Hospital is one of only 1,043 hospitals to achieve this distinction based on excellence in accountability measure performance and is being recognized for Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Surgical Care, Immunization and Perinatal Care.

This is the second consecutive year Danbury Hospital was recognized, a solid indication of our ongoing dedication to the patient experience and a culture of safe, high-quality patient care.

Introduced in 2011, the Top Performer on Key Quality Measures program is intended to encourage hospitals to consistently improve their performance on accountability measures by publicly recognizing those that ultimately achieve excellence in this arena.
