Marketing Update

At long last, we’re ready to launch the new branding with you, in advance of the external launch to consumers. Months of market research, brainstorming and conceptual design have led to the creation of a truly unique and inspiring brand that captures the spirit and identity of Western Connecticut Health Network – our Hospitals, Medical Group, Home Care Agency, other Affiliates and most importantly – YOU – our incredible team of aligned healthcare providers.

Keep an eye out for our new advertising campaign launching later this month. Media plans include television, radio and print ads – including billboards, magazines and newspapers. Additionally, we are launching four new websites – one for the Network and each of the three hospitals. The sites will be mobile and desktop-friendly and prominently feature “Find a Doc” to help connect visitors with our exceptional network of care providers. A social media strategy is also in place to expand our reach and engagement.

Finally, we are making good progress on the DOC-Line website, a new “go to” site offering Medical Staff easy access to information, clinical applications and news to help support your work. The site will feature Network news, community-based news, department news, the PHO, Cerner transition and much more. We plan to launch the site in the Spring.

I appreciate all the feedback you’ve shared along the way. As they say, it’s the journey, not the destination. Here’s to this exciting next step in our journey and bringing Western Connecticut Health Network’s new brand to life.
