Cathy Frierson has joined WCHN as our new Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Network, reporting directly to Dr. Murphy.

New WCMG Leadership

Richard Gemming will join our network on April 25 as Executive Director of Western Connecticut Medical Group (WCMG) and Vice President of Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN).

Richard is a Physician Assistant and is committed to ensuring that WCMG is a world-class medical group. In addition, he plans to more effectively integrate the strategy of WCMG with that of our network to ensure that all incentives are aligned and growth and development are maximized.

He comes to WCHN from New York Presbyterian Healthcare System where he was Senior Vice President of Network Development and Management, leading strategy and development for primary and specialty care physician networks. Prior to joining New York Presbyterian Healthcare System, Richard was COO of the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapies at Columbia University.
