Seven-Day-a Week Services at Ethan Allen Hotel and New Milford Hospital
Western Connecticut Health Network has consolidated its services for outpatient sleep testing to two convenient locations in Danbury and New Milford to offer seven-day-a week services. Sleep testing is now provided at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury and at New Milford Hospital. The sleep lab at the Heritage Hotel, Southbury, has closed. At the Ethan Allen Hotel, patients will benefit from newly renovated hotel rooms with private baths in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, supported by board-certified sleep specialists and a fully accredited program for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related conditions.
The administrative offices for the Sleep Disorders Center will relocate from Danbury Hospital to 33 Germantown Road, Danbury. The telephone number for appointments and other information remains the same, 203-739-8033. The phone number for the New Milford Hospital Sleep Center is 860-210-5240.
Security Changes at WCHN
WCHN’s Security Department is changing the way to gain access into its facilities.  Present ID badges have a magnetic stripe that allows access into Western Connecticut Health Network’s facilities.
During the course of the next several months the magnetic swipes will be replaced with proximity (touchless) readers.  The Security Department has been printing and distributing new proximity ID badges.  The changeover to the new proximity readers will be completed by the end of August 2013.  The changeover begins with off-sites (currently in progress), DMAC, and Danbury campus.
Any physician who needs a proximity badge can email SecurityBadges@wchn.org.
Please include your name, contact number, and location. No new photo is needed.
