- The first meeting of the general Medical Staff has been moved back to April 12, 2016 at 5:30 pm. The hour prior to the general Medical Staff meetings will be devoted to showcasing some of the programs available in the Network. Each department will get an opportunity to participate throughout the year.
- The next meeting of the Medical Staff Advisory Council is scheduled for February 25. Dr. David Kramer has agreed to join the Council.

The results are as follows: Patrick Killeen, PA - President; Tammy Higgins, APRN - Vice President; Chris Keenan, PA - Secretary/Treasurer; Marie Elena Cordisco, APRN and Richard Pope, PA – At-Large Members. Congratulations to all.
- For those members of the Medical Staff who have been reappointed in this past year, it is time to submit your CME attestation to the Medical Staff Office. The information and forms required were sent in January via email. A reminder will be sent but the due date is March 1, 2016. If you have any questions, please call Paula Hart in the Medical Staff office at ext. 7517.
- The Committee on Cancer awarded Danbury Hospital a 3 year Accreditation with Commendation (Gold Level) to the cancer program at Danbury Hospital. Congratulations and thank you to all members of our staff who provide such excellent care to our patients fighting cancer.
- There are many initiatives within the hospitals but the most ambitious one has just begun- this is the Network-wide transition to the Cerner IT platform. This will be an 18-24 month project and many will be asked for their input. Thank you in advance for your participation. Dr. Eric Jimenez will be providing frequent progress reports.
